All Cricket squares @BSCollegeSport given a double cylinder cut today at 22mm @DennisMowers in between showers - they’ve all come out of end of season renos well in good conditions and responded well to a feed a couple of weeks ago and thickening up nicely 👌now for a holiday

Pitches @BSCollegeSport starting to make a come back after a difficult spring / summer. Been a slowish process but getting back to where we want to be now

Out all day marking y-day and the marker had a mare with bare areas on post frost football pitches and worm castes - rubbish day today - let’s do something about - back wheel scrapers made for the @TurfTankUK - should hopefully make life a lot easier going forward !

One of those “what do you guys do this time of year ?” Jobs completed this week 100M (ish) of hedge that had become unmanageable, reduced in height by 2-3 foot, posts cut down to fence height and barbed wire removed, making for a better looking healthier manageable hedge 🪓🪚🌳

Some progress from the end of the summer at Rickling CC Years of rubbish had built up, square too big for No of fixtures, heavily scarified this year and reduced to 6 pitches. Clear difference in pic 2 (yes the right part was the square) 1st cut today looks more like a🏏 square

End to another good week @BSCollegeSport. Grass growing like mad still, plenty of cutting done, more aeration before the 20yr veteran wiedenman broke down. 4 pitches prepped today for the visit of @Fram_Sport tomorrow. And yes it was cold 🥶

Making use of the warm dry weather again today started blowing/collecting the 1st load of leaves. Then cricket squares got a cut, happy with how they’ve come up post renos barring the usual worm activity. 2nd square (not pictured) will need some work in spring due to washing out

Having left the pitches @BSCollegeSport to have the 1st week of h/term to themselves today was a solo mission on the @ventrac for me on the main field cutting the pitches, training grids ⚽️ pitch and all the surrounds wouldn’t have been able to do it with many other bits of kit
