Another one for Salón Madre in a completely different style, helping to create this sense of the venue being around for a long time and hosting a variety of events.

We designed a selection of posters in different art styles to be plastered around the Salón Madre venue, the intention was to help create this sense that the venue had been open a long time, hosting lots of events with different personalities.

Over a year ago Sam @gringlepie came to me about an exciting new venture, and mischievous offspring of @thisismadre, Salòn. A Mexican pool hall, late night bar and street food spot in the centre of Manchester. It needed a playful, messy identity to match its chaotic personality.

"Flow Of Time". I made this artwork exclusively from screenshots of my favourite game "Ocarina of Time", one that I spent so much time playing as a kid with my little sister. I have such nostalgia whenever I hear the songs that populate that world.

"Neck Ache". I apparently messed up my rotator cuff in my shoulder over a year ago, the physio has given me exercises to do every morning where I lie on the floor and thrust my hips upwards. I apologise to everyone else in the gym.
