Incredible. Has to be close to a record of some kind. Most HR+hits+runs+RBI in a single game by an Athletics rookie named Kurtz, that's for sure.
Nick Kurtz just had one of the greatest games in baseball history. 6 for 6 with four home runs, six runs and eight RBIs. He is a 22-year-old rookie.

The team had an optional workout yesterday. Terry Francona said he absolutely insisted that Elly De La Cruz take the day off. He did. The rest of the team was there. They had an opposite field hitting contest to have some fun. Austin Hays won.
