I made a new flyer for my #Ben10 watch party event.
#Ben10 is political. I had made my announcement on r/Ben10, and this is something that still goes over people's heads. I don't know what the intent behind every allegory in the show was. But I think the villains could be interpreted as multiple allegories. (1/6)

(Bonus) The whole point of the show is to put yourself in other people shoes, and understand their struggles to be closer to peace.

(6/6) I've been harassed by such people, including members of my own family since 2006, I've lived 11 years in a sundown town as an openly gay man. I like to think I've walked in the shoes of these marginalized groups. #Ben10 to me is anti-fascism.

(5/6) I'm a white man. I'll never know what it's like to be discriminated against for my ethnicity. However, I'm a proud member of the LGBTQ+. I've been beaten for that by people who share these ideologies, banned from bars, fired from jobs, and threatened.
