Not sure how many here are familiar with the situation that happened this past weekend, but basically our graphics were reposted + promoted (without permission) to an "open calls" Instagram with 41k followers, and our submissions folders have now been spammed by people who did +
THEY FINALLY TOOK THE POST DOWN THANK FUCKING GOD. rlly upset about this. the fact that over half our submissions are now from ppl who AREN'T EVEN QUEER (let alone butchfemme) is infuriating. the fact that we now have straight up cishet MEN following us is so deeply upsetting.

every 90 minutes we would put up a “gone fishing” sign on our vending table at the butchfemme party to go take a smoke break and pose for silly photos and run around in circles and armwrestle in the cold…. butchfemme friendship rituals can be something so beautiful..
