Today is #CdnAgDay -- local farmers work hard to feed families in our community, and just as we applaud healthcare workers for their heroic efforts, I encourage everyone to support local farmers. (Oh how I miss pre-pandemic market visits!)

Let the outdoor growing really begin! First plantings here all got in the ground before the rain - Peas, beans, carrots, beets, turnip, radish, etc! Strawberries look like they came through the winter reasonably well and we're back up to our full acreage this summer!
🥉Streak over. After 10 Consecutive May days with minimum temperature ≤0°C in #Thunder Bay, the minimum temperature was only 3.7°C yesterday. We made it to 3rd place, only 6 days behind the record. #TBay
