Last night’s event marking International Men’s Day at Belfast City Hall was a huge success. Launch of our Safer Suicide Policy ✔️ 18 trained Mental Health Champions across Belfast Bands ✔️ We’re more than bandsmen we’re musicians, leaders, mentors. Together we are stronger 💙

🎶 The Belfast Bands Forum is joining the Executive & Sub Committees for the 2026 Fleadh Cheoil. We’re involved to help ensure the Fleadh reflects the rich cultural traditions our bands represent, and to make it an open, inclusive celebration for all. Our Music. Our City.

Tonight, members of the Belfast Bands Forum completed SPEAK suicide prevention training, building on last year’s SPOT course. Thanks to @PAPYRUS_tweets, Forward South & BSCR for making it possible. Bands are more than music they’re a vital support network. 💜🎶

Today, members of the Forum attended the launch of the Londonderry Bands Forum’s children’s book The Adventures of Bandie, a fun & engaging story promoting inclusion, resilience, & teamwork. 👏 Congrats to Andy and the team on this meaningful book and a successful launch event!
