For Job Seekers: Reputation > Proof of Work. If 100 people say "This person is amazing at X", getting hired for X is a lot easier. A proof of work portfolio, when no one recognises you as an expert is less effective. Ofcourse, reputation isn’t the opening act; it’s the applause.

Lists on X is such an underutilised feature. It allows you to enter echo chamber of your choice. More people need to know about it. Super helpful to build various perspectives.
Just absolutely purged my Instagram & X followings. Scrolled my feed and unfollowed or muted everyone who posted a story I didn’t find beautiful, inspiring, or educational. Going to reset all of my social algorithms in this way, like a blank slate. Anyone you follow should.
