Alone in the developed world, Australia uses its education funding to create a class system rather than break it down. The consequences are dire. My latest in @THEMONTHLY

Dusting off the speaking boots...it's been a while. Looking forward to sharing our story so far in "School(s) of Thought: Reimagining Education from the Ground Up" in the EduBUILD stream at EduTECH. #EduTECHAU @EduTECH_AU https://t.co/4YsvZ01z4b

This is a hard one to take, but unfortunately a reality for many. Not only is the system losing good leaders, the numbers of those wanting to step up is dwindling. I love being a principal but it’s complex & there is always room for system improvement. https://t.co/cbNl1PHngH

Some experts believe principals could be eligible to launch legal claims for moral injury – a psychological condition once reserved for soldiers in war zones.

We are building new schools where they are needed most - in fact, 100 of them by 2026. We have built 75 new schools so far and today I visited Kurmile Primary in Officer with Premier @JacintaAllanMP to meet principals appointed to 6 new schools in 2025. What a talented bunch.

The Victorian government should be able to decide where school teachers work. That's one suggestion being floated by the education union - after a damning report into chronic staff shortages. @msanto92 #9News

“In effect, one in every ten public school students in Victoria is not funded for their education and our principals, teachers and support staff have to make up the shortfall.” We cannot wait any longer to fully resource our schools. #auspol https://t.co/6Pqyz2VI0E
