Remote Work Myth Busted: You can't create deep connections virtually. In Office = Physical Proximity WFH = Emotional Proximity Closeness and connection can be deeper working remote by the very nature that the connection is at an emotional level not a physical one.

Focus on Conflict Resolution Remote workers shouldn't avoid conflict conversations. - Address it promptly - Avoid misunderstandings by getting on the phone or video - Encourage open dialogue & active listening - Make it about the situation, not the person - Find a common goal

Set Goals & Talk Expectations With Your Manager Don't leave your manager guessing what you are working on or they might assume you're not working. Talk to them about your priorities, capacity, & communication norms. If it doesn't achieve a goal or give you visibility it's a no.

Create Boundaries Just because your home and work are the same places, doesn't mean you should always be available for work. Create a work zone, put your laptop away daily, & use do not disturb on your phone. Overdo it & you could burn out before you get ahead.

I'll never work a 9-5 again. Remote work lets me shift that same job into a 6-2 job. I saw a TikTok recently about how people have only about 3 hours in the evening to be with friends, family, and kids. Well, when you finish at 2pm you can fit a lot more in outside of work.
