It has been a quick ascension for Zac Selmon in the world of athletic directors, but he’s learned from some of the best to do it.
This past week, two titans in our industry and influential mentors in my life, Joe Castiglione and Bubba Cunningham, announced new chapters and journeys in their futures. Some people go their entire careers without finding an elite mentor like Joe or Bubba, but I am blessed.

We have lost a Sooner Radio Legend. Longtime engineer/producer Michael Dean passed away this morning at the age of 77. His unmistakable and iconic voice will forever be a part of Oklahoma radio history. And his storytelling will be forever unequaled. Rest in Peace Michael ❤️
