It's not like I went into 2022 with crazy optimism but wtf.

We had a 2009 @OrofinoWinery Beleza with our lamb roast this evening and the first thing we both got was Black Forest cake with rich cherry.

Anyhoo, if you are around @DistrictWineVillage over Family Day, we’re going to be sampling 2021 barrels of ME and CF (just like the Bord buyers!) at @OneFaithWine. No charge! #bcwinechat

We like puff pastry with asparagus (brushed with olive oil) and gruyere cheese. Pairs well with Sauvignon Blanc or dry bubbly #BCwineChat

We recently slow cooked leg of lamb with some lemon juice and zest in the glaze and found that Riesling worked quite well. #BCwineChat
