My new EP is out now, just in time for #BandcampFriday ! Created entirely on my Circuit Rhythm, each track used a forgotten sample/snippet as a starting point (all of which are also included on the Bandcamp version of the release). Thanks for listening!

Did I mention I finally finished a walk-through of some new features in the 1.2 version of the Deluge community firmware? Some very cool stuff here (and more being worked on)

Live ambient set as part of Noise Night in Hamilton tonight at Doors Pub. Bringing some fun gear. Should be a good time

I seem to go through a lot of gear, so here some ramblings about stuff I picked up or parted with in 2024 for any fellow gear/synth nerds

The community firmware devs have cooked up something special for Xmas and the latest stable release - 1.2 Chopin is out today - this is the one that includes Stem Export and new DX7 FM synth! https://t.co/db9zPu0Oos

Of course I must suggest Lord Plunder for Bandcamp Friday, as to do otherwise would get me vaporized. Listen at your own peril, but to ignore Plunder is a foolish mistake #BandcampFriday

Since it's #BandcampFriday, here's my most recently electronic EP as Bay Mud, but maybe you want to catch up on the entire discography for under $7?

Had some fun trying to use my forgotten Novation Circuit Mono Station as a glitchy groove box (lots of patch flipping)

Had some fun using the Deluge to sequence the CZ-101 in its 4-part multitimbral mode (why aren't more synths multitimbral?)

Anyone else have a Microcosm? Traded for one this week and am enjoying using it to mangle the Deluge output

Friendly reminder to back up your stuff---not just hard drives, but synth presets you've made, etc. I can't be the only one who has lost a custom patch and never been able to recreate it exactly the same!

Been selling some gear lately and am thinking my next project should be called "Awkward conversations while waiting for the e-transfer to go through"

Finally got my hands on a Casio CZ-101 just in time for it to feature on a Bad Gear episode!

Took a few tries, but here are my favourite new features in the Deluge 1.1 community firmware. Hopefully this is useful/interesting to someone!

This wouldn't be the first time I've been in the middle of editing a video on new Deluge features only to realize the synth patch/melody I was testing with is really grating to listen to. Time to try again
