I was told that I did not have the option for my representation to submit a motion for dismissal with prejudice. The options I was given were that I could 1) accept the STATE’s offer to dismiss due to “lack of prosecution” with the condition they would recharge and re-arrest me

The judge presiding over my case refused, in open court, to let my lawyer present the motion she’d drafted for dismissal on the grounds of there being video evidence the officer lied about all of the charges. I have absolutely no fucking idea what is going on in TN courtrooms.
