and we’re off on the last 5 miles! We are all struggling a little this morning but we keep moving on with our students in mind! Let’s build them the playground they deserve!

So a whopping 14 hours, 65,000 steps and 35 miles later we have made it to our stop in Birmingham, ready to take on the last 5 miles to arrive at school tomorrow! Our very own Gurwinder, Deepu, Rumi and Ellie are ready for a goods night sleep along with our Pure HomeCare friends!

Ursa Minor class have been enjoying a sensory story focussing on the Weather. Students used visual communication to make a choice of material for their cloud collage. We saw some excellent fine motor skills being used to rip materials and place them purposefully.

This week Delphinus class have been doing a lot of physical activities, they have been swimming as part of their Monday work experience and playing basketball skills games in Thursdays PE session. Well done Delphinus Class, you all did great.

This week the students in Discovery have been learning about the role of a firefighter. They experienced a demonstration of the use of a fire extinguisher to put out a fire, by our very own Fireman Summersby.

Baskerville BTEC Art work, Level 1 group. These students have worked incredibly hard and produced some fantastic work despite the lack of facilities, space and materials. We are very proud of them all.
