Y2 took part in the #GreatScienceShare day, today. Using our super science skills to investigate materials used to make clothes. They used research, tally charts and grouping to identify types of fabric. They identified a new fabric made from bamboo called, viscose. #BMScience

Nursery became scientists today for #GreatScienceShare day. Predicting which spinner would stay in the air longest, comparing by size and taking them outside to compare against their friends. They also explored forces, finding magnetic objects around the environment🧲 #BMScience

Year 3 had a wonderful afternoon today for Great Science Share. We thought about different variables of an experiment and what our big question could be. We then learnt about climate change and what sort of things we can do to help the planet. #greatscienceshare @SwantonSarah

After tinkering with creating a stop motion video last week, this afternoon Year 5 planned a new video on a storyboard, then filmed it in front of a green screen before editing and changing the background in iMovie.

During our maths lesson today about capacity, the children measured a variety of volumes within different sized containers. Children also filled the containers with the same volume and discussed why they looked different. Well done, Year 2. @woolley_mrs #BMMaths @MrCornishTweets

Wonderland is an amazing place full of incredible characters. Year 5 and Year 6 are creating a map of Wonderland focusing on places that aren’t mentioned in the book. #WorldBookDay2024 #imagination

This afternoon, Year 5 started a new dance topic with @wearekickstart focusing on refugees. It was really nice to revisit this idea after reading ‘The boy at the back of the class’ by @OnjaliRauf in the Autumn.
