For my younger followers, here’s some info for tonight. Valvano’s downfall started from a tell all book. It lead to an NCAA investigation. Most of the stuff in the book was false. UAB’s coach Andy Kennedy was a State player in 86-87 & was one of the main sources for the book.

Interesting to learn from @giglio_OG today that Andy Kennedy (UAB head coach) was a contributor to Peter Golenbock’s book that got Jimmy V fired. So Monday was revenge for NCCU’s 2013 win over Gottfried, and now Friday is revenge for Jimmy V. Somehow I don’t doubt WW knows this.
