The amateur approach to making, owning & protecting music in this day & age is saddening. The past horror stories of famous artists & what labels & publishers did to take advantage of them should have been the education needed, but indie artists still make the same mistakes.

This is especially true for minors, you should not suggest ANYTHING to my child. The content a family curates should be all a child sees. As for adults, the time wasted looking at content we never chose is ridiculous. I go online to see what I want, not what you want me to see.

All media platforms, social or otherwise, should not be allowed to serve or suggest you any content without your opt-in. How’s it any different than an unsolicited XXX pic? Advertisements are fine for free accounts, with an option to pay to hide, but content should be opt-in.
