‘Bus’ stop no.4! A little pit stop while we picked up a new family with one independent cyclist and his siblings grabbing a lift in the Bike Bus cargo bike until they’re confident/old enough to join us. Great tunes this morning from the mobile disco🪩 🎵🎸

Everything Jo says in this video rings true with our Bike Bus. We love it but we shouldn’t need to have it. Cycling to school should be easy, safe and a right for children.

To celebrate #BikeWeek100 the bike bus will be running every day this week 🙌🚲. We’re hoping some families from @CJSDorset who can’t make Fridays will be able to join us and see what fun we have 🎶🎵. Huge thanks to the volunteers for extra shifts this week. You rock 😘

Little bit emotional seeing the final cut of this - especially little M saying how we protect him at junctions so he doesn’t get hit by cars 😥. Whilst the #BikeBus is fun, what these kids really need is safe cycle lanes, protected from motor traffic 🤞🚲

I have started to advocate for myself for when I am a senior. "When I am a senior I would like there to be shorter crossings to navigate" Most of these improvement projects aren't happening again in your lifetime so do some generational advocating. My future grandchildren....

What an exciting morning! Permission from the Headteacher (who joined us today 🙌) for the kids to be LATE FOR SCHOOL 😱 as @activetraveleng were filming the #BikeBus today. It was -3 Celsius in Christchurch so we did star jumps to keep warm while waiting for the drone to go up!

Its less than a week to go before Dr Bike visits @CJSDorset. Free bike safety checks for all who ride to school (parents and staff too!) 12th and 16th December. If you haven't ridden with the @BarrackBikeBus and want your bike checked this is a great excuse to join them.
