New polling from @BarometerLab says settlers are making some progress learning the truth about Residential Schools. But there's much more to learn. You can help the folks at the NCTR shape future national education programs by taking their survey here:

If understanding the truth about Residential Schools and the structures of colonialism is the first step to action, there's some hope in this data - particularly the fact that more than three-quarters of us settlers know at least something about the TRC and MMIWG calls to action.

7/ Most people in Canada have at least some awareness of each of these important topics, but there’s a long way to go until everyone does—especially UNDRIP. Just like with awareness of Residential Schools, Indigenous people know more about these topics than non-Indigenous people.
