Release patch notes with the patch, not earlier. Players wouldn't inflate their expectations. Also, weed out who is giving information to leakers.

Pt. -removal of particles helps with visual clarity and performance Fantastic change.-removal of excessive geometry helps with visual clarity, movement, and polycount. Great change. There are still more excessive geometry that could be removed or optimized.-again, LOVE Wildcard.

Pt2. -amps are silly. No visual or sound warning to enemies about a huge advantage. Belongs in Wildcard.-Wildcard is the most fun I've ever had in a non-competetive mode since the early seasons of Apex. I could play just that all day. It's so we'll thought out.

Thoughts on the new @PlayApex season so far, Pt1:. -caustic UI warning icon distracts and adds to visual clutter. The gas already acts as a warning, it's on the screen. And I mistake the icon for a grenade almost every time due to muscle memory.

Good game design heuristic: synergize game mechanics you already have to increase depth before adding new mechanics that create complexity. Example: hop ups were a new separate mechanic, but now rely on damage to function, which is another game mechanic.
