R5R MnK Players, we have input base matchmaking now, so you can avoid rollers. lol
Press Insert to open console. Type wait 5. The server will wait up until 5 seconds to find you a match for your same input. Usually, it's instant in a full server.
You can change 5 from 1-15.

Just off of hours spent in R5R, firing range, and general training, I'd have to say Dezignful might be the hardest working pro in Apex. Wish more mnk players trained their mechanics as much as he does. The closest to that is Mavv.

I can tell if you pad your stats in R5R. Lol. So if a scout asks me about your crazy k/d or other stats, I tell the truth.
Conversely, if you're a good player and I notice you afk or goof around a lot, I tell scouts to pay attention to you.

There aren't enough IGLs in T2 because no one trains by VOD reviewing pro games 2+ hours daily.
Fraggers train mechanics.
IGLs train judgement.
There is no secret strategy.
Do the work over a long enough period of time and you will find success.

Tip for rollers: if your hipfire is trash, open r5reloaded aim trainer. Use the Hitscan Auto weapon. Open strafing dummy on invincible. HIpfire only shooting. Whatever your accuracy is, increase is by 10%

As the r5r guy, I'm telling you stop playing it as a way to improve at comp. Go vod review, scrim a lot, 3v3 tdms with your team, and play rank as aggressively as possible with the intent to speed up your decision making. Also, hire a coach. (Not me. Not taking anymore students)

99% of the people who said they'd train 2 hours daily in r5r aimtrainer on roller have already quit or defaulted to using it as a "warm up", and would rather do 1v1s even though aim training is proven more effective. Aim training is an ego destroying act. Take that how you will.

Current aim meta is to train on harder versions improve. what's helped me is if I do a version that's .7 or .8x the speed. Slowing reveals my bad habits in real time. It applies to very other mechanical skill. I don't know why we teach the opposite in the aim training community.

I can superglide, lurch strafe while shooting, and chain fatigue bounces. But I choose to not use any movement tech in 1v1s. I'm the anti-movement player. In fact, you'll often see me stand still for half my clip.
