July home explosion ruled an arson by Baltimore County fire investigators. 66-year-old Mark Hawkins, the property owner, was arrested and charged with Arson – First Degree and Malicious Burning – First Degree in connection with the July 1st explosion at 8120 Callo Lane, 21237.

A county employee injured while working on a boiler inside the building was transported to Bayview Hospital with non-critical injuries. Out of caution, the incident commander requested a building engineer to evaluate a structural crack observed by the incident commander.

At 10:50 a.m., #BCOFD units responded to a report of an explosion at Precinct 9, 8220 Perry Hall Blvd, #21236. Crews from the #Fullerton Fire Station arrived within minutes and confirmed there was no active fire.
