Commissioner Rooks is our second Student Commissioner to be elected by students and he can vote on all matters except personnel and union negotiations. We’re proud of what we’ve accomplished for student empowerment and we’re not stopping here.

Yesterday our SGA went to the ASCBC spring assembly today. They met in groups to review the Parliamentary procedure and ASCBC election. We are very proud of them.

ASCBC is partnering with @blackgirlsvote to bring voter registration to City School’s student election! 🗳️ 6-12th grade students can vote for their student reps May 20-23. If you’ll be 18 by November 5, you can vote in the primary election on May 14. So get registered and VOTE!
