Congratulations to The Sharpshooters who won our quiz on Friday night. Once again many thanks to Jeff Partridge who prepared an excellent quiz and also many thanks to Ballywalter Bowling and Rec Club who allowed us to use their hall.

William’s daughter in law and granddaughter are members of our band and he’s the face of the RHD, Portavogie for the last 40 plus years.

On Wednesday a few of our members attended the monthly meeting of Donaghadee Blue Banner jlol781 to talk about our band and demonstrate our different flutes. As you can see a number of us did enjoy it when the Lambeg drum was produced. @OrangeOrder

Yesterday we travelled to Armagh to take part in the NIBAcontest. the result didn’t go our way, we were delighted to win the percussion prize. Many congratulations to CLB who were awarded first place and to their conductor darrencanmore who won the interpretation prize.

Great night at the joint harp and thistle concert with @RMBandScotland and Royal Irish Regiment band. We are biased but it was one of our own who stole the show. Hope you enjoy this clip

Later today we will be losing Miss Gaw as a member and gaining a Mrs McCormick. Can we wish Tori and Robert many happy years together and hope they have an enjoyable day. Finally as Tori would ask, ‘are we there yet?’ at 12.45 today she better be 😉😉😂😂

Last night we attended @DunloyAccBand annual parade and were honoured to lead it around the packed streets of Ballymoney with Kellswater Flute Band. As you can see Myla, Sophie and Evie were delighted to be there.

Yesterday we paraded at Scarva for the first time, and had the pleasure of 3 very familiar faces join us from Ballygowan for the day. #scarva #rbp #glorious13th

To many of us John was the only person any of us knew who was murdered in the troubles so this is a fitting tribute to him and his three colleagues

This morning we called into donaghadee_lifeboat to present to them the half proceeds from our recent ‘Home from the Sea’ concert. In the photos are members of Portavogie Fishermen's Choir, along with members of the lifeboat crew and Patrick Bell, who was the musician director.
