Good point, Eduardo; I should’ve been clearer that it’s about the gap between unemployment of college educated and others. Before Covid there was a clear edge to having a degree; now not so much. But the job market is pretty tight when measured by unemployment. And that’s true.
@BaldwinRE The first chart seems to tell that unemploymente is stable for non-college workers but is increasing for college workers. Doesn´t that contradict the chart title?.

Well, sorta. Nah. 👉Look at the chart. 👉What matters is the price of frequently bought GOODS. 👉CPI is big time services. 👉Inflation expectations baked into 30yr yields.
Bottom line: it’s still extremely difficult to argue that tariffs are causing any meaningful inflation. If that were the case, you’d think imported goods would grow more expensive, and U.S. inflation would diverge from others’.
