No power to start the day, some interesting 🚽 malfunctions, & quite a few maintenance requests, but our Blackshear Ts & Ss totally rocked it! Read alouds by 🔦, STAAR camp games in the hallways, & not one complaint about having to relocate or change plans for the day! 😊❤️🦬🥰

My favorite place to celebrate my bday is at Blackshear! I can’t express how loved I felt by my students and staff! Special shoutout to my 5th grade team for dressing like me (coolest surprise ever) and to my girl Baylee for working behind the scenes to make this day so special!
