There is no evidence that BT was threatened, tormented or in fear for his life. This law exists to protect genuine domestic violence/stalking victims, not to be applied here
@CourthouseNews Judge Garnett says that the broadness of the stalking statute is an "issue for the government" in this case. She says the code was written to address domestic stalking situations, a goal that is "at a lot of tension" with it also being a predicate for LM's death penalty count.
