What began as two groups of friends joining together to form a team, eventually grew into a Seuss-HOV-Pooh-Hondi-Palp crew that simply became “the ‘Cakes”.

After 4 seasons, 3 Eagan championships, and countless memorable nights at Sky Hill, Carnelian, and yes, even in Hopkins, the Baby Cakes will not be returning to @HRLTwinCities for the 2024 season.

Be it spectacular plays in the field, running from first to home on routine groundouts, or hitting walk off bombs to send us to the next round of the playoffs, his impact on the team has been enormous.

HOV @hovaustin has informed the team that he will not be playing in the @HRLTwinCities for this upcoming 2024 season. He is unsure if he will be playing in the league again. HOV has meant the world to the Baby Cakes franchise.

Cakes split two with @HrlRough tonight. Game 1, Hjal and Seuss both diced, H8R with an early bomb, then Pooh and Hondi go back to back in the 5th. Pooh with a diving stop to end a rally for the Riders in the 6th, final score: 3-1. Game 2, Riders take it 12-5. Game 3 - Thursday.

We battled the Baby Cakes tonight in 2 hard fought games. Gm1 the Cakes came back from behind to win 3-1. Gm2 we got up a few and did not look back. 12-5 Gm3 is Thursday night!
