What a well-told Jamaican Reggae story!
Bob Marley One Love is a very good film and I was happy to be at its premiere at Carib this evening.
It’s a must watch for lovers of Reggae and Marley. So please plan to see it when it goes on show in your area.

(1/2) This is what you call the strength of a Jamaican. An injured Tajay Gayle with his last jump, his leg heavily strapped, has qualified for the final of the Men's Long Jump with a leap of 8.14m. Wow. That's the heart of a Jamaican champion.
Last night at the Jamaican premiere of

I recalled the many moments I shared with Bob Marley. Even then you could sense that there was something special about his music.
Today, the hope of the entire world is encapsulated in his anthem of One Love!
(1) I had the opportunity to have a chat with celebrity Mexican actor, Tenoch Huerta who plays the villain, Namor the Sub-Mariner, in Black Panther: Wakanda Forever in Mexico City.
He is not just a great actor but a strong advocate in the fight against Racial discrimination.
Shortly after arriving in Jamaica today at the start of a three-day state visit, the President of the Republic of Rwanda, His Excellency Paul Kagame(

The greatest 100m runner the world has ever seen, Jamaica's Shelly Ann Fraser Pryce. And it was a Jamaican clean sweep in the women's 100m at the World Athletics Championships in Oregon.

inscription on the Representative List of the Intangible Cultural Heritage of Humanity. Support was unprecedented. 20 of the 23 countries on the committee spoke on our behalf. We are the 24th member of the ICH Cmte.
I am deeply honoured, humbled and thankful to be accorded further National Honours in the form of the Order of Jamaica (OJ).
For all of my life I have been about serving the people. If I am so richly rewarded for this, then to God be the glory. (1/3)

(1) I was thrilled to make my first appearance on reality TV when I was invited by Olympian Sanya Richards Ross to join her cast for an episode of Real Houswives of Atlanta. Sanya, as we all know migrated from Jamaica and represented the U.S. in the 400m at the Olympics.
It is with shock and sadness that I learnt a short while ago of the death of Simone Edwards who was perhaps Jamaica's best female basketball player of all time.
Simone certainly made her name internationally playing in the WNBA in the United States. (1/2)
The Reggae Girlz have created history at the World Cup again, winning their first ever match at the summit of football.
