Here's an interesting one: what should Web3 founders do when it's clear the game is over? Turn the IP over to the community? Return a % of funds? Are Web3 founders *allowed* to say "We tried. It didn't work. I'm sorry?".

Dear Community, it is clear you did not appreciate our sudden abandonment of the project and immediate closure of our social channels. We meant nothing by it. Please trust us.

It's just endless in this space. Generally, Web3 Founders are subject to unreasonable expectations, but there is a delicate balance between genuinely trying, "failing" and graciously bowing out, & shutting your doors in the middle of the night hoping nobody notices. Wack.

This remains my biggest Tech Take L to date. I remember passionately debating my fellow students about the uselessness of an iPad outside of business needs. #neverdoubtsteve.

Personally, I am happy to now be observe their courageous risks without having my investments tied to them. That is not to say that I disagree with their decisions. In truth, I just don't know. But when I was no longer comfortable holding, I decided to leave and have no regrets.

Seeing from white-hot takes both for against @doodles decision to 1) launch Doodles 2 and 2) Do So on Flow. From personal experience, if the decisions of the founders cause this degree of emotional turbulence, perhaps it is best to merely watch and cheer from the sidelines.
