Well this is pretty incredible to see....
Walking past people saying "I wouldn't think to go to Birmingham but my god its wonderful" and people shouting "Big up Brum" and all I can heat is constant praise for this City and I'm absolutely loving it. About bloody time.

I can't believe I am saying this but...I finally quit my job. I handed in my notice yesterday and I will be saying goodbye to Civil Service and Hello to Bab Social and Bab about town FULL TIME. Finally free!

Finally we have a great Spanish restaurant in Birmingham City Centre! I have been dying to try this and I absolutely loved it 👍Recommend the Aubergine chips with truffle and prawns with garlic, just beautiful!!

Tried out new Japanese fried chicken brand Kyushu in Birmingham (Brought to you by some familiar faces 😊) and its seriously bloody good. The Japanese marinated chicken coated in their signature umami sauce is just unreal 🤤 I'm excited to try more. Available on Deliveroo babs.

Since announcing I will be quitting my job last Wed I have had an overwhelming response from businesses wanting to work with Bab about town & Bab Social. I have had 5 meetings so far and got another 30+ more to go ha! I just want to say thank you everyone, it truly is wonderful😍

Really enjoyed my meal at Raja Monkey last night in Hall Green. Food is fantastic, they serve up the best Keema Pau (better then Dishoom) and the beef dum biryani is gorgeous!

Took the rents out in Birmingham for the day. Mom usually struggles with walking but I found myself struggling to keep up with her moving quickly from restaurant to bar with her camera, and Dad is that impressed he wants to start a "Dad about Town" blog
So yes they loved Brum 👍🏻

Finally found a flat in Brum 🥳
We move in November. Feeling excited but also a bit sad I have lived in Sutton Coldfield my whole life however its time to move on. Exciting stuff come with the move & big plans for BAT. Looking forward to starting the next chapter, I'm so ready💪🏻

My last week working in Civil Service, then I'll be going full time as a Freelancer on Bab Social and Bab about town. Mixture of emotions really, I feel scared, happy, relieved but more so, I feel proud. It still feels unreal...but man, I'm so bloody excited for the future now.
