Nursery children have been making Gingerbread Men with a kind parent. There has been lots of mixing, rolling and cutting. The children used their senses to describe the mixture as 'sticky' and 'smells spicy'.

Nursery were very lucky to have a daddy come and them cook porridge for snack. There did lots of maths-counting how many jugs of porridge were needed if these were full or not. After reading the story Goldilocks, the children decided that the porridge was 'just right'.

The children in nursery have been learning the story The Three Little pigs.They have been exploring materials to build their own houses from straw, sticks and bricks to discover which is the strongest. The children chose to use sponges and brushes to paint their own pigs pictures
