Food Service started a new tradition for our staff to celebrate World Kindness Day. Staff will be able to award coworkers with a TTKB Award & personal note. TTKB awards acknowledges random acts of kindness witnessed by coworkers to promote a loving atmosphere in our kitchens.

Food Service celebrated World Kindness Day today with a special featured item, Heart Shaped Nuggets. We wanted to embrace the movement for more Love & Kindness in our world.

Due to the changes for the SNAP benefits being cut-off on November 1, BWSD wants parents to know that if your child qualified for free meals as of October 31, 2025, that your child's current free status will remain in effect for the entire year and or until June 30, 2026.

National School Lunch Week celebration had the country of Italy to celebrate on Friday. At LES, they offered students a choice of cheese or pepperoni (Turkey pepperoni) homemade pizzeria-style pizza for the kids to enjoy. A fresh salad with Italian dressing was offered too!👏

BWSD is celebrating National School Lunch Week. This year is about tasting foods & learning a little facts about some countries around the world. We are having fun serving up good food and fun facts with the students this week at the secondary schools & R.A. Lutz Elementary.

A Halloween Lunch Menu treat next week in the elementary schools will feature Bat-Shaped Chicken Nuggets.
