I am working with 10 of the Capital's most devoted individuals on re-structuring and revitalizing the BVDCAT community first-and-foremost. From there, I will do everything I can to enable any ideas/plans that the community has - just like we've done since the OG DeadCets days.

Since his passing, I have contacted the biggest members in the community and many members have stepped up and are organizing a way to rebuild BVD into what it needs to be, moving forward. I am not going anywhere but it is clearly time for someone else's vision at the helm.

I knew @slushyfunds for almost two decades. When he took interest in developing for BVD, I felt like I had finally met somebody ready to take this thing to new heights. Less than a year later, and he's gone. I feel crushed. And for the first time, I'm at a loss of direction.

@slushyfunds was running his own branches of the BVD tooling - Trait Swap, Burn, Points, you name it. With him gone, we've lost access to everything we migrated and all the MVP's we worked on for the last 6 months.

When he passed away, we lost the lead developer working behind BVD. Me & @slushyfunds were doing this for a long time just out of love and passion, building and funding concepts together out of our own pocket. With him gone, we've lost a ton of tools at BVD.

All @slushyfunds ever did was think of ideas and code MVP's to see what would be sticky or not to build the future of BVD around. He cooked up:.- SocialFi sites.- Public Goods tools.- Defi Games ('BVD Arcade').- Badges, Profile, Collection System. So many good MVP's, all gone.

Firstly, I want to talk about @slushyfunds, who they were, what they did at BVD, and why they were more important to BVD's future than anyone else. Slushy had been developing for BVD and quit his IRL job to work in Web3 full-time to have spare time for building out BVD.

This message comes from @NftHellboy. This is the hardest announcement I've ever had to make. A month ago, my long-time friend / BVD lead developer, @slushyfunds passed away. Many knew him as Iota. R.I.P. BVD will be undergoing some changes, and we'll talk about that below.
