If yesterday’s Snacks & Crafts could be described in one word, it would be groovy. We took to Marsh Plaza to tie-dye while snacking on empanadas. While we’ll have to wait for the grand reveal, we’re excited to see our Terrier F1RSTS wearing their new ‘fits around campus!

Yesterday, the Newbury Center welcomed visiting practitioner Sarah Walker from The Australian National University. During her visit, Maria and Tony discussed best practices for supporting first-gen students through research and university policy.

What's s'more fun than painting? Painting while making sweet treats and enjoying a classic movie!. At yesterday's Crafts & Snacks, we worked on some paint-by-numbers, roasted s'mores, and watched the original Superman movie.

Over the weekend, Maria and Rosemary traveled to Colorado to present at the #SSHE2025 First-generation Student Success Conference. Don't worry, it wasn't all work and no play! Maria got to meet up with student staff member Jessica and her sister Josline to chat and catch up.

Last night, student staff members Alyssa and Addison attended the Italian Celebration game at Fenway Park! There are countless ways to explore your heritage in the diverse city of Boston - all you have to do is look.
