I shared a picture moment with the two heads of anti - corruption agencies. This collaboration between OAG, PPDA, and IG shows the power of institutions working together, serving as a beacon of integrity and hope in Uganda’s fight against corruption. #RegulatingforResults

Auditor General Edward Akol praised the partnership as one of the strongest anti-corruption collaborations in Africa, noting that the joint efforts of OAG, PPDA, and IG have made Uganda a model of good practice.

Deputy IGG Anne Twinomugisha Muhairwe noted that the collaboration has enabled joint investigations, audits, and inquiries into procurement and financial management. By pooling expertise, the institutions have tackled complex corruption cases more effectively.

In my opening remarks, I highlighted key @giz_uganda supported initiatives to strengthen the fight against corruption. These include the Contract Monitoring System which engages 30 CSOs nationwide to monitor public contracts. @AntiGraft_SH
