Thanking #BatterseaFireStation for the invite to their Open Day. Our dogs enjoyed meeting all those attending & gave a fantastic opportunity for our handlers and local officers to engage with the local community & provide crime prevention advice on and around the rail network.

PD BOLT was deployed in #WestLondon to assist officers and @metpoliceuk with identifying a crime scene which was unknown. BOLT tracked from the location all the way to a wooded area which was identified as the offence location, allowing MPS to secure and preserve vital evidence.

Trojan officers soon arrived and supported our handler in arresting the suspect who is now in custody and a machete has been recovered. Our account is still to be closed, however until this is actioned we will continue updating our followers with the daily jobs we deal with 🐾.

After reports of a Male waving a large machete in #Uxbridge, first on scene was PD Zimba & Handler. On seeing the Male run into the station, they bravely chased & without further support, PD Zimba confronted the suspect, successfully detaining & preventing harm to the public!

GP Handlers assisted divisional units last night with entry into an address with 2 aggressive dogs. A suspect was arrested, officers were authorised to conduct a search but the dogs were preventing safe entry. Dogs successfully contained and evidence located. #NotJustTheRailway

Introducing one of our new TPD’s, Ginni 🐶 TPD Ginni (right) is starting to win over PD Frankie’s friendship & all being well is scheduled for her basic course early next year. Until that time, she’ll be developed by her handler & the dog school so she is fully prepared to go!

Awarded the order of merit for his deployments along side his handler at the London Bridge Terror Attacks, this was one of the many commendations this team received during his hugely successful career. Our thoughts are with his handler and family & we hope he rests in peace. 🌈.

It’s with a heavy heart to announce we sadly lost RPD Marci who has passed away following a short illness. Marci was a 10 year old GSD/Mali Cross who retired in 2022 and was a decorated General Purpose/Firearms Support Dog who in 2017 was awarded the PDSA Order of Merit.
