Some big news on a major project I have been working on. Really excited about what I hope will be a gift to our city, the people of God, and this beloved institution for decades to come.

Another year of mind and heart-expanding reading for me. This morning I finished book number 396 for the year. For those who are interested, here are 18 that stood out.

Effect #4: Contrary Theory. "This discipline ends up strengthening our positions precisely because it first weakens them. Really taking in a contrary theory will help you see the parts of your own position that are nuanced, unfair, or even untenable.".
