Some interesting problems.1. Not enough Neurophysiology consultants in the UK to fill vacancies.2. 8 applicants for every Neurophysiology ST3 post.3 Resident doctors cannot find training posts. The logical solution would be increase the number of ST3 posts in Neurophysiology.
We need action to fix the broken medical training system and protect patient care. ‘Doctors entering medical school in the UK should not have to worry about whether there will be a job for them after foundation training. ‘IMGs are also a vital part of the medical workforce,
