example of this being, the desert "feels empty" despite connecting to the entire game. the real issue is the game didn't make the points of interest it connects to feel "worth it", i.e the game feels unrewarding

I think the problem I was having earlier, is that as a gamedev, I'm more apt to compartmentalize elements of a game and judge each little piece on its own isolated merits, wheras most people experience a game as a whole without much distinction

the aliens are like ascendant psychic buddhists w/ beautiful sweeping hi-concept architecture... but they have a grimy mass assembly line motorcycle factory where defective parts get thrown out a window. & racetracks. This isn't presented as contradictory. I don't understand

MP4 is so scattershot. the environments are beautiful & it's frequently fun but also just as frequently insultingly hand-holdy or weirdly obtuse. story is nonexistent. no real threads for the characters or the aliens or the world you explore... I can't call it good

@shinosarna @Aftermath_site ok, so in your opinion, re the payment processors, who have unilateral control over what is sold on steam, overriding even valve themselves... valve just happens to have the exact same censorship policies as them? and the payment processors have nothing to do with this. come on
