Tonight we finished our summer basketball.I really like our chemistry & I am excited for our season. Thank you to our players, coaches, and families for supporting our program during a very busy June. Time for some well deserved rest for our kids. November will be here soon.

We finish the @RPS205_Showcase 2-2. We learned a lot about our team. The biggest takeaway is that our kids fought. We had to deal with some tough circumstances with injuries etc. Regardless of who was on the floor for us this weekend, we fought. I love our unselfishness and grit.

Congratulations to Brayden Lewis on earning All-Conference Special Mention. Brayden had a tremendous year for our team. Brayden is one of the best pure shooters that we have ever had in our program. He shot 37.6% 3FG% on a high volume (96/255).

It’s never easy when you take a loss in the post season. Tonight we fell to Sycamore 59-44 in the Regional Championship. After a tough regular season, I am incredibly proud of our effort and focus this week. We were playing our best as the postseason started.

Varsity boys with a 35-30 1st round regional win over Belvidere. Thank you to all who traveled to support our team. A special thank you to our student section as you were incredible. We face the #1 seed in Sycamore at 7pm Friday at Woodstock North HS. We need another big crowd.

We got back in the win column tonight with a 34-27 win at Boylan. We host Guilford this Friday night.

Great to see North 2020 grad Anthony Espensen catching up with our own current freshman, Owen Lewis at the Rockford University game today. I love having the older kids connecting with our current players.

Dropped one to a really good East HS team 73-57. Really proud of our togetherness against a top team. We have improved greatly from the last time we played them. A day off tomorrow before we host Harlem Friday.

Varsity boys fall to a well coached Hampshire team 45-41. Our kids made a nice comeback but came up short. Thank you to @GHS_BBasketball for hosting a great “Day of Hoops” event.

A great experience today as we travelled to Fiserv Forum in Milwaukee to play Kaneland. Thank you to the Milwaukee Bucks for the hospitality & Kaneland HS for setting it up. We lost 61-44 to a really good Kaneland team. We did a lot of things well. We just need more consistency.
