The good news continues to roll from BMG! Drs. Watson and Smith receiving R24 funding on their project “Population genotyping of the germline immunoglobulin repertoire in AIDS-designated rhesus macaque breeding colonies” from NIH. Rock on Drs. Watson and Smith!!!.

Great news for our grad student Jordan Noe!!! He won the inaugural innovation startup, CardStart. His startup is aimed at developing a new cell-based therapy for the treatment of aggressive solid tumors. Way to go Jordan!!!!

Congrats Dr. Lyndsay Reynolds from the Clem lab. She successfully defended her dissertation "The Retinoblastoma Protein Mediates Metabolic Reprogramming in Lung Cancer" and will be moving just down the road to @universityofky as a post-doc fellow!.

Our own Dr. Carolyn Klinge has been acknowledged for a top cited / viewed 2019 paper from Endocrine-Related Cancer describing Non-coding RNAs in endocrine related cancers. Way to go Dr. Klinge!.

Been a while since we've tweeted, but we have been busy!!! We had a great seminar yesterday from Lindsey Barkse @CCHMC using zebrafish to look at evolutionary genetics. Adriaan Bax @NIH gave an excellent talk about the use of NMR in uncovering the protein folding states.
