Please continue to pray for @Caden_rose7. He is currently in the hospital with a Grade 2 spleen laceration after being struck with a baseball. Currently, no surgery is needed which is awesome news!They will continue to monitor him for 3-4 days. Pray for no bleeding & no surgery!.

Austin has been released from the hospital less than 72 hours after his heart stopped and he laid at home plate for 42 minutes! Amazing!!!!!.

It blows my mind that travel coaches let their kids spit seeds all over a turf field week after week despite signage and a note on the PG tourney website. I’m sure you’re teaching them the right way to play the game also. Be better!. Don’t worry, someone else will clean it up!

Talk about pride and commitment! Our student-manager @Mitchell5200 has been working on our bullpen mound for over 2 hours! . It’s the summer, our players have been gone for over an hour, and he VOLUNTEERED to fix it because it looked bad. I hope our players appreciate The Dash!

After the 2019 state championship loss, I told our team that if this is the worst thing that ever happens to them, then they had a great life. I feel the same after today. Unable to play out the 2020 season is devastating but our guys will respond and be better men because of it!

Iowa HS baseball season ends tonight (only state where HS sports have taken place since pandemic). It wasn’t exactly smooth sailing with Covid but:. - 94% of teams were unaffected.- 96% finished season.- all infections reportedly mild.- fans were allowed all season. (📸 @iahsbb)

🚨New Record Holder🚨. Congrats to @SlateAlford on breaking the Bob Jones single season home run record last night with his 3rd inning BOMB!. Alford now has 14 homers which breaks the old record of 13 set by @DylanRay__ in 2018. Alford has also tied the career HR record of 25.
