A Lakeland media site (not one I’ve worked for) gets mentioned here — and not in a good way.

Glad to see @mylkldelectric is offering rebates on a wide range of electric vehicles. When I got my Chevy Volt, only the Nissan Leaf was eligible for a rebate.

I just learned the city of Lakeland is about to ban bicycles from Oak Hill Cemetery. I often ride my bike from home to the cemetery to visit the graves of my two granddaughters. They are next to the entrance, so this doesn’t really affect me. Still, it’s angering.

Just voted in the Lakeland special election. At almost noon, the workers at this site for three precincts said turnout has been slow. Two other voters were in the room while I was there. @RPFundingCenter #voting #electionday

This isn’t a debate; it’s dodge ball. How much can I say in two minutes that doesn’t answer the question?

Why do so many people say “backslash” when they’re reading web addresses? Those are forward slashes, aka slash.

VOTING: A reminder that today is the last day to register to vote or change party affiliation in order to participate in the March 17 presidential primary. In Florida, only members of a party can vote in that party’s primary.

My earlier complaints about the overly loud sounds of freedom aside, it was really cool to see the Blue Angels flying over my little top-down convertible in the Lakeside Village parking lot during the 5 p.m. show.
