So after months of work, the first prototype of my pocket gamma geiger counter / spectrometer is done... Firmware and hardware need some improvement but its a start!

Prototype circuit built.. TIA, Comparator, pulse generator and a buzzer. Paired the SIPM with a small CsI(Tl) crystal. We now have a simple geiger counter.

A new project is underway... The cheapest SIPMs available from broadcom are a BGA, so I designed a break out for them...
