Some of our grade 12 Core French students have been working on creating a concept board and model of their "new apartment" while intentionally incorporating pieces of their own identities in connection with their novel. We are eager to see the final products! 👀

In January, our conseil français is featuring Tamil Heritage Month on our department bulletin board, featuring some important profiles such as Maitreyi Ramakrishnan, and Darsha Jegatheeswaran, Chandrasekhara Venkata Raman. Happy Thai Pongal to all that celebrated!

On of our talented grade 11 Core French students at BHSS made a traditional Québecois dessert, Pouding Chomeur and was generous enough to share it with the class. This was a dessert offered on our field trip to Le Papillon and he made his own. Merci d'avoir partagé, Tony!

En Novembre, we honoured Hindu Heritage month and Remembrance day on our bulletin board. En décembre, nous célébrons Christmas, Hanukkah and Kwanza! Merci to the French Council for their creativity in making the board interactive, bilingual and educational!

Last week, our BHSS French Council hosted a Movie day in the Lecture Hall as we approach the winter break and students opted for a viewing of Frozen in French, which turned into a bit of a sing-along! Congratulations to our council on a successful event!
