Walked to work this morning, met an Otter. Walked home from work this afternoon, met a Kingfisher. Both on the River Kelvin in Glasgow, near the Botanic Gardens.

2/2 I think all three are juveniles recently fledged from a nearby nest. An adult arrived with a delivery of prey but all happened in cover of trees so missed those photos.

Been following Kingston College Peregrines @KPeregrines on here for a couple of years so when I was in west London last week I thought I’d go have a look. Within 5 mins of getting there I’d spotted both adults plus both of this year’s juveniles, ZCT and ZDT.

Kestrels on the roof of a building off University Place in Glasgow. I think these are the two juveniles who fledged from a nearby nest a few weeks ago. At least one adult Kestrel was on the roof of the Boyd Orr building, keeping an eye on these two.
