We are now looking to expand on this and would like to invite clubs looking for a change of competition or new clubs looking for a league to join us for our 2024-2025 season. We are also hoping to start a new U21s Division.

As a tribute to Lionel, we kindly ask all clubs to hold a Minutes silence before the kick off on Saturday 5th November to honour the memory of a man who gave so much time to the game he Loved. Kind regards,.Colin Brindle, Chairman.And Members of the League Management committee.

He was our Leagues representive at the Sports Council, & of course the man at the turnstile for all our cup finals and would often be found sat in the pavilion at Pleasington to greet the teams upon their arrival for their games.

Among the awards to Lionel for his devotion to the game he loved, where the distinguished service award, the WM. Fox award & in 2014, the LFA 20 years' service award.

Lionel after a career in the army, moved to Blackburn, and in 1994 became the leagues registrations secretary. In 2003, he took on the role of league treasurer a position he held for over 15 years. He became the Leagues Vice President in 2019.
