For #UKMAW2024 we’re promoting some of the ways food service RD’s support ppl with malnutrition in healthcare. 3️⃣ Policy, procedure & influencing. Having a FSRD as part of your policy team is invaluable as they know the provision inside out & can help lead service improvement ✍️.

Here’s another way that we help champion better nutritional intake for ppl with malnutrition. 2️⃣ Menu Coding! Food service guidelines in hosp recommend using higher energy & high protein coding on menus to highlight meals ⬆️ in energy & protein. Are you using these in your site?
