Today, BCLC honours the courage, sacrifice, and service of First Nations, Inuit, and MĂ©tis veterans who served in the Canadian Armed Forces. Despite facing systemic barriers and discrimination, more than 12,000 Indigenous individuals served in the conflicts of the 20th century.
